I came to know Karen when her husband Andy joined the board of the Saint James Music Academy several years ago. I just loved Karen’s energy and warmth that I experienced at the academy, at her home when she hosted gatherings and in the times we spoke. I had the privilege of sitting awhile and talking with Karen a few weeks before she passed away and even in her weakness and suffering she remembered small details of things we had talked about in the past that were important to me. I was very moved by this testimony of her care and attention to people. To Andy and all Karen’s loved ones, I am so sorry for your great loss.
